Julie Chen Moonves hosted the famous summer reality series Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd Season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been The Talk's first hosts. She was moderating and hosting the talk show since 2010 to the year 2018, when she was the host. Her true love in life was writing, and she won an Emmy. Her outstanding talk show also brought the host an Emmy. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor as well as anchor of the news segment for The Early Show. Following 9/11, she traveled to Cairo to conduct an interesting and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show that profiles celebrities such as Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has featured stars such as Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was the reporter for WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton Dayton, Ohio (1995-1997). She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the network's affiliate news service as well as an assistant desk in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991), while finishing her senior year at the University of Southern California. It was her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel to produce the Columbia du-Pont-winning special Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at the Los Angeles riots of '92.
